Cottage 206 is a beautiful 2-bedroom, 1-bath cottage located in the secluded Seaglass Village Cottage Resort in Wells, Maine. Just minutes from the beach, this quiet, wooded community in the “Friendliest Town in Maine” is the perfect place to enjoy a variety of summer activities.

For those 18 and older… Splash around in the saltwater outdoor pool, relax in the hot tub, or take a lap in the outdoor walking resistance pool. Play a round of shuffleboard, bocce, or practice your stroke on our putting green. Try out pickle ball or a game of tennis. Work out in the fitness center which houses an indoor resistance pool; sit by the outdoor fireplace or enjoy the cozy library and our free WI-FI. The clubhouse is also home to The Sandbar, our indoor/outdoor bar which serves beer, wine, spirits, and snacks.

For the younger ones…There is a large family pool located a short walk from the cottage. Enjoy the fire pit nearby where you can roast marshmallows. The tennis courts and basketball courts are available if accompanied by an adult.

For all…You'll want to visit the surrounding quaint seacoast towns of Ogunquit, York, Kennebunk, and Kennebunkport. Each offers wonderful shopping, dining, nature preserves, bike and walking trails and miles of beautiful beaches. It’s an easy bike ride or walk to the beaches about 1½ miles away. Ogunquit, which is less than 2 miles away, was recently voted America’s Best Coastal Small Town by USA Today. Walk next door to Wonder Mountain Fun Park to play mini-golf or ride go-karts. There are a variety of dining options within walking distance. Drive a bit farther to experience the iconic water parks, Aquaboggan and Funtown Splashtown USA. Or park your car at the train station and enjoy some time in Portland or Boston.

The cottage has cathedral ceilings and an open floor plan in the dining and kitchen area that provides a light and airy feel. Fans and air conditioning keep the cottage cool and comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with all necessary tools and appliances, including a Keurig coffee machine, drip coffee maker and counter-top oven. There is also a full-size refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, heated floor and washer/dryer. The master bedroom has a comfortable memory foam queen bed, small dresser, 32-inch TV, full closet and ceiling fan. The second bedroom has a twin bed with a twin trundle under it, small closet, small dresser and ceiling fan. Additional bedding is provided for the full-size innerspring futon in the living room/sunroom, which can be made into a private sleeping area. The living room has a 49-inch TV, a DVD player and small selection of DVDs and family games. Streaming services and cottage-wide access to WIFI is provided.

The outside of the cottage features a BBQ grill and table with umbrella and chairs for your exclusive use. There are up to 4 bikes with helmets and locks provided.

Golf cart rental is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Rules:

· During peak season (July, August, partial September) cottage rentals require a 3-night minimum rental

· No pets allowed

· No smoking anywhere on premises

· Strict speed limit enforcement of 15 mph

· Please lock bikes on site and when using off site

· Although not child-proofed, we have made every effort to make this a safe and comfortable cottage

Disclaimer: Note that all cottages have a sunroom that is not heated or air conditioned. During the cooler months, it may be chilly in this room and may not be usable in the winter months. During the summer months, the ceiling fan and multiple windows keep the room cool. The cottage can only accommodate 4 people in the winter months.
