Terms and Conditions

Check In:

3:00 pm. Please arrive at 3:00 or later to check in. There is no guarantee that your rental cottage will be available before this time. Many of our renters arrive slightly before 3:00pm so that they have time to explore the area or purchase groceries for their stay at Seaglass Village!

Check Out:

11:00 am. There is no balance owed the guest for early check outs. There is a charge if the cottage is not vacated by 11:00 am on the day of check out.

Payment:

At the time of booking, our rental team will ask that you secure your reservation with a deposit of 50% of the total rental price. This initial payment is to be made with a credit or debit card. The remaining balance is due at least 30 days prior to day of check in. Additional and final payments can be made using the same credit card, a different credit card, or paid by check or money order. Please mail those payments to Seaglass Village Rentals P.O. Box 388 Moody Village, Moody Maine 04054. Please make checks out to Seaglass Village Rentals.

Use of Facilities:

Our guests may enjoy the use of our many amenities and activities at no extra charge unless otherwise indicated by the specific event. (Please make sure to check out our schedule of summer activities! There is guaranteed to be something fun going on during your stay). All amenities, with the exception of the community pool at the front of the village, are reserved for use by guests who are 18 or older. This policy is strictly enforced.

Cancellation:

We will be glad to refund your deposit, minus a $50.00 cancellation fee, for all cancellations received before April 1, 2012. No refunds will be honored after April 1, 2012 and you will be responsible for the total amount due. Trip insurance is recommended! Damage/Cleaning Deposit:

A deposit of $300.00 must be authorized on a credit card before you receive your keys from the rental office. If the cottage is left damage-free, the card will not be charged. Please note that rental cottages are inspected as soon as you check out for things such as broken furniture, missing furniture, evidence that there were pets in the property, evidence that there was someone smoking in the property, etc. Excessive cleaning expenses will be charged to you if it is determined that this type of prohibited behavior took place. Please report any incidents to the rental office immediately.

Occupancy:

Each cottage is 2 BR and can accomodate between 4 to 6 people, depending upon furnishings. Occupancy is limited to the number of people indicated in the cottage listing. Please read the description of your cottage carefully before booking, or call a member of our rental team for further clarification.

Quiet Hours:

Quiet hours at Seaglass Village begin at 10 p.m. and extend through the night until 7 a.m. Please respect your neighbors and reduce the volume of your voices, television, radio and other electronics during these quiet hours.

Pets:

Our rental guests are not permitted to bring pets.

Smoking:

Your rental cottage is a smoke – free cottage. You may smoke outside on your porch, as long as the trash is disposed of properly upon check out. Smoking at the Clubhouse is permitted at the front of the building 20 feet away from the steps. There is no smoking on the pool deck.
