What's Happening in Wells/Ogunquit February 2014

It may not be time for sunny beach days and ice cream on the porch just yet, but there's still plenty of fun to be had in the Wells/Ogunquit area of Maine. Our four-season cottagers have been enjoying snow shoeing, outlet shopping, and steamy clam chowder at the locally famous Mike's Clam Shack, just to name a few things.

Our Cottage Advisors have resumed meeting with potential cottager owners already. And, although the Sales Office is operating on a limited schedule for these last cold months of winter, they'll still be happy to meet with you to help you choose a cottage and get your new cottage under construction so you can enjoy it this season. (In case you hadn't heard, our Northern Slip lots are now available for purchase!)

Visit the Wells/Ogunquit area and meet with Jackie or Kim to see whether a three-season or a four-season cottage is the best suited for your lifestyle. And why not plan your visit around some fun upcoming events? Here are a few things happening in the area this month:

Feb. 8, 2014: Lobster Around the World cooking class at Stonewall Kitchen

Feb. 14, 2014: Country singer Craig Campbell performs at Jonathan's Ogunquit

Feb. 21, 2014: Winter Wildlife Day at Wells Reserve at Laudholm

Feb. 28, 2014 - March 1, 2014: Ogunquit's Mardi Gras Festival

Let us know when you'll be visiting the area and we'll happily plan to meet you at Seaglass Village to discuss your cottage plans.

Seaglass Village to be last luxury cottage resort in Wells

The Seacoast and Portland Press Herald have both reported on the recent decision by the town of Wells to eliminate future cottage developments. The votes on this new town referendum mean these final phases of cottages at Seaglass Village will be your last opportunity to own a vacation cottage here along Maine's sandy coastline. Make sure you reserve your cottage before the opportunity is gone forever!
