Sandy beaches, rocky coves, lighthouses, lobster dinners, antiques, art galleries, hiking, and kayaking are just some of the reasons to “Own Easy” at Seaglass Village, located on the idyllic coast of Southern Maine.

Seaglass Village is located in Wells, the more tranquil neighbor to bustling Ogunquit and Kennebunkport. While the area is known for its antiquing and restaurants, Wells is historically known for its attractive sandy beaches. The town features seven miles of oceanfront and offers three sandy, public beaches. Public parking and restrooms are available, and lifeguards are on duty from June through September. Other natural attractions such as The Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge and Wells Reserve at Laudholm Farm are favorites with hikers and nature enthusiasts. Water activities such as fishing and boating attract many visitors to Wells Harbor, while the 70-acre Wells Recreation Park tempts athletes to its extensive playing fields and sports courts.

Located on the Atlantic Ocean, and just 5 miles north of Wells, Kennebunkport is well known for its miles of pristine sandy beaches, such as the 3 miles of sandy coastline at secluded Goose Rocks Beach. Slightly further inland, neighboring Kennebunk is a village rich with tradition and beauty. From the downtown art galleries to the grand architecture of Sea Captain's mansions, to the pristine Mousam and Kennebunk rivers, Kennebunk is an esthetic delight.

Just south of Wells lays Ogunquit, a village that retains its charm while offering some of the region’s top-rated restaurants and an active nightlife scene that includes live music, a piano bar, and dancing. The village is also home of the famous Ogunquit Playhouse where theatergoers have been entertained with high caliber shows featuring world famous professional actors every summer since 1933.

Seaglass Village owners can also enjoy a stroll down Marginal Way, a 1.25 mile paved footpath that runs along the coastline from the center of Ogunquit to the quaint fishing village of Perkins Cove, a vibrant neighborhood filled with eclectic shops and restaurants. Pass by scenic tidal pools and stone outcroppings while taking in the magnificent vistas of sea and shore that inspired such painters as Edward Hopper and Marsden Hartley.
